Noble AMA IPA advocates for patient care by streamlining the referral process with over 40 direct referral rules for the most common situations. The Board of Directors and Utilization Management committees are represented by both Primary Care physicians and specialists.

What if I become ill?

If you become sick, you will call the primary care physician that you have personally selected. Your physician will treat you in his or her private office. Should you need to see a specialist, your primary care physician will refer you to see a specialist in our network. Our UM nurses work with your primary care physician to insure that your referral is handled to meet your needs. As a member of Noble AMA IPA, you can rest assured that if you need to be hospitalized you will receive care at a hospital in your community. We have contracts with Fountain Valley Hospital, Garden Grove Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial and Coastal Community Communities Hospital. If you need care that the hospital does not provide, we have an extended network of high quality hospital facilities to meet any patient care need. Children's Hospital of Orange County is among those hospitals.

Noble AMA IPA has a large network of physicians, which consists of over 100 primary care physicians and 200 specialists conveniently located throughout your community. Although the rules may change by plan, Noble AMA IPA is willing to enroll you if you live within 20 miles from any of the four main contracted hospitals.
